This study aimed to analyze the impact of job alienation on the productive efficiency of workers in the Libyan telecommunications sector, limited to “Al-Madar Al-Jadeed Company and Libyana Company.” The researchers adopted the descriptive analytical comparative approach in conducting this study. To achieve the research objectives, a special questionnaire was designed to collect data, where the sample size valid for analysis amounted to 76 individuals distributed between the two companies under study. The researchers used a set of statistical methods to analyze the data and test the hypotheses, including a t-test for one sample and a t-test for two independent samples. The results revealed a statistically significant negative impact of job alienation on performance efficiency, with the dimensions of “pessimism” and “dissatisfaction” emerging as the most influential dimensions, especially in the sample of Al Madar Al Jadeed Company. However, the study did not record a significant impact of the dimensions of “social isolation” and “feeling of helplessness” on performance efficiency in either company. The study recommends that Al Madar Al Jadeed Company management adopt effective strategies to enhance job satisfaction, including improving incentive systems, developing administrative communication mechanisms, and increasing transparency in performance evaluation. It also recommends conducting subsequent studies to uncover the organizational factors that influence the exacerbation of feelings of pessimism and dissatisfaction. Finally, it emphasizes the importance of implementing training and development programs to enhance job belonging and improve the organizational climate.
