The impact of the internal work environment on the employees' performance A study on Employees at Gharyan University – Libya

The study dealt with the subject of the internal work environment and its impact on the performance of employees. The study aimed to identify the reality of the internal work environment at University, to indicate the level of performance of employees at Gharyan University, and to study the relationship between the internal work environment and the performance of employees at Gharyan University. The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach. Where it focused on a simple random sample estimated at 100 workers at Gharyan University through their answers to the questionnaire as a tool for data collection and data processing in the SPSS program, and the study reached through analyzing the content of studies and literature as well as through statistical analysis to a number of results, most notably the existence of a strong and positive relationship between the variables of the internal work environment and the performance of the employees, where the improvement of the internal work environment increases the increase in the performance of the employees, in addition to that social support and positive social relations between the employees affect the internal work environment and thus on their performance, and I concluded that effective control and follow-up from management can improve the environment The internal work environment and positively affect the performance of employees. As for the recommendations of the study, it was represented by analyzing the content of studies and literature, as well as through statistical analysis, the need to improve and constantly update the internal work environment of the institution or university, and to provide training programs for workers aimed at enhancing their functional and personal skills, and to provide opportunities for employees to express For their suggestions and observations about the internal work environment and work to implement them, and to improve internal communication between management and employees and provide effective means of communication.
