Abstract

This study examined to analyze the impact of the money supply in a broad sense – as a monetary policy tool – on one of the most important indicators of economic growth, namely gross domestic product (GDP). This study used annual data for the study variables, using the odds – sum least squares (OLS) method, and the statistical software program (SPSS). The study found a direct relationship between GDP and board money supply. The results also demonstrated a clear impact of broad money supply in both the long and short term.
