This study addresses the topic of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as one of the voluntary and informal behaviors demonstrated by employees within organizations. Such behaviors go beyond the formal requirements of their assigned roles and contribute to supporting the work environment and enhancing organizational performance efficiency. The study also highlights Organizational Commitment as one of the fundamental pillars of organizational stability and continuity, as it reflects employees’ attachment to the organization and their commitment to achieving its goals.
The study focuses on analyzing the relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Organizational Commitment by clarifying the dimensions of each variable and examining the role played by Organizational Citizenship Behaviors in enhancing employees’ levels of Organizational Commitment. Furthermore, the study seeks to provide a theoretical framework that emphasizes the importance of promoting such behaviors within organizations due to their contribution to strengthening organizational values, fostering employees’ sense of belonging, and enhancing their commitment to their work.
